Lake Pressegger See in the south-west of Carinthia reaches 28 degrees in summer, making it the ideal place for the whole family to splash around from June to September.
The lake is just 5 kilometres from the Kronhofer apartments and can be reached quickly and easily by car, bike or bus.
Away from the busier Carinthian lakes, Lake Pressegger See is a true insider tip. Thanks to its ideal water temperature of up to 28 degrees Celsius, this lake is of course particularly popular with swimmers. The crystal clear water is surrounded by a belt of reeds over three metres tall. Lake Pressegger See is perhaps the most unspoilt lake in Carinthia and the flora and fauna are well protected to ensure it stays that way.
